Homeschool Community is a website and message board created to meet the needs
of those homeschooling with Christ as their focus. We, Rick and Cherylann
Hostler, are honored to offer the Christian Homeschool Community to you.
Rick and Cherylann are the parents of nine children (three girls and six boys)
who are all being taught at home and raised in fear and admonition of the Lord.
We are committed to training our children at home and have been doing so for the
past nineteen years. Although, it has not always been an easy path it has
been a blessing and an honor! Each day is bathed in prayer as we discern
God's direction and will for our family.
Our homestead is in Pennsylvania, where we care for all sorts of animals.
Cherylann is an avid spinner and knitter, and has begun raising English angora
rabbits. Rick is an amateur blacksmith and enjoys fishing and restoring antique
tractors with his sons. Feel free to read our new blog at

Our purpose is to bring praise and
glory to our Heavenly Father. We strive to do so in our relationship with Him
first, in our marriage, our home, our family and to the body of Christ as well.
This web site is an extension of our desire to fulfill that purpose, we pray you
are blessed and directed to Him while you visit with us here.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe all scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
and for instruction in righteousness. We believe that all have sinned and
fall short of the Glory of God. We believe that God so loved the World, that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. We believe that by grace we are saved through faith;
and that not of ourselves; it is a gift of God; Not of works, lest any man
should boast. We have hope in these words; "Let not your heart be
troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are
many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also." With
these truths we find the foundation of our faith.
